I finally got this dvd I found it at Best Buy
and before that I would have had to have ordered it from a major video rental store.
Were now due for a comeback of the Ninja
and this is the perfect time for it

MGM really needs to get on the ball…they had an opportunity to make good use of Revenge of the Ninja coming to DVD and they kinda failed. Like you said, ‘no wide-screen, no extras, no additional languages, nada’. I was really hoping for some deleted scenes and maybe some cast interviews if possible. Great review man, I love forward to your review on ‘Ninja: the domination’.

He’s right, when I was a kid I wanted to be a Ninja, I used to look at the adds in the back of martial arts mags and wish I could buy the shurikens and ninja climbing claws.

  10. Enysvar says:

that is Masaaki Hatsumi in his young days!

  11. disembodiedspirits says:

The DVD of Revenge of the Ninja is actualy in Negative Full Frame not P&S so a widescreen edition would actually mean less image. Just crop it yourself if you want.

  12. MalReynolds01 says:

Ohmygosh!!!this is realy poor and i only see the 1st one minute of the Clip.Poor SHO KOSUGI i realy like him he s an good Actor and a formidable Martial Artist. But fotunat. there are also Good Movis with him.

  13. Scathach80 says:

Actually, since none of the Kosugi films featured the same diagetical character or had any continuity between each other, Prey for Death has as much of a claim to sequelhood as any film with Kosugi.

  14. tussintom says:

hatsumi was way more badass in his younder days than that

  15. Manthing32 says:

    nostalgia overload

  16. Kalani2dc says:

I freaking grew up on this movie and loved it over and over again. You’re right #$%@ cops and fire fighters, I wanted to be a ninja. Halloween was my favorite time of year cause then I could walk around in my ninja outfit AND get candy. Plus, i was lucky to have the ninja stars and climbing claws too! Great review

  17. ninjacondor says:

Whether NINJA ASSASSIN will be a success or not, I just hope the theatrical release is a good enough reason to put NINJA III and ENTER THE NINJA on remastered DVD fully uncut!

  18. ninjacondor says:

When are you going to review NINJA III THE DOMINATION? It’s been long overdue! Ninja movies are going to come back in a big way like the zombie genre did, lol.

    Peace.
